Definition:
You feel unable to act, intervene, or change a negative situation.
What to Do:
You need to identify what’s causing your helplessness.
Then practice examining whether or not you’re able to act, intervene, or change the situation, and adjust how you think, speak, and behave accordingly.
And use healthy coping strategies whenever feelings of helplessness come up.
