Before joining Unfilteredd, I worked as a counsellor for over 8 years. 

Part of this time was spent at a suicide crisis centre in Johannesburg, where I conducted trauma debrief and counselled people through some of their darkest moments.

I also counselled at Steve Biko Academic Hospital, working in trauma and pastoral care, before opening my own practice in 2019.

I’ve supported people dealing with narcissistic partners, parents, siblings, and friends, as well as people navigating divorce, infidelity, and various forms of abuse.

I hold a BA Honours in Applied Psychology from the University of South Africa (UNISA), a Diploma in Pastoral Care and Counselling from the University of Pretoria, and a Certificate in Human Resource Management from the University of the Witwatersrand.
